But, here’s the kicker: trying to be everything to everyone can leave you with an empty client roster and a bank account filled with cobwebs. Yikes, nobody wants that.

So let’s chat about the power of targeted marketing and how getting specific can actually expand your reach. Picture this: instead of speaking to a faceless crowd, you’re having a heart-to-heart with someone who feels truly understood. Sounds amazing, right?

Here are three juicy takeaways to help you sharpen your marketing focus:

It's time to get cozy with your audience. Who exactly are you talking to? Dive deep into understanding what they want, how they speak, and what really makes them tick. One of my favorite ways to learn about my tribe is through free calls or assessments. These are golden opportunities to connect on a deeper level. Your audience gets tons of value (picture them flipping over a $300 coaching session for free!), and you gain priceless insights. It’s a win-win. During these sessions, solve a problem for them and ask a few key questions. Voila, you’ve got the secret language of your peeps.

  1. Leverage Surveys

Surveys are your best friend. Offer a free call in exchange for a completed survey. This not only entices your audience but also provides you with detailed information about their desires and pain points. It's like peeking into their mind and understanding exactly what they need from you.
